Question about herpes paper cut type sores – Herpes Message Board

How many cuts do you usually get and how often? Do these sores bleed when the first present themselves? I was concerned about Herpes and I was asking a few questions as of why -in your professional opinion – I was experiencing pain after sex. I was diagnosed with  2 two days ago after going to the ER because of excruciating and escalating vaginal and labial pain. I really can’t remember when my cuts started either, but I often do feel like I’m not really convinced that it is Herpes…especially since I’m HSV-1 positive and my HSV-2 was in the range of being a false positive (according to the Dr forum). They werent painful, perhaps a little sensitive to touch, and it did not hurt at all when I urinated. There seems to be more than one thing happening.

I have seen other postings regarding these paper/razor cuts, breaks in the skin that look like lines as if someone took a razor and cut them. Herpes symptoms are not always easy to identify because they can vary so much from person to person and do not always appear as expected. Most of us have been told that swimming in the ocean will help heal a sore or cut. We present 3 cases of herpes simplex virus presenting as intertriginous fissures similar to the “knife-cut” ulcers associated with metastatic Crohn’s disease.


I’m still unsure as to what’s wrong with me and its scaring me to death. Fellow of The American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. What I have learned is that it can be caused by dryness, frequent urnination for whatever reason, injury, eg., itching, perfumed soaps, etc. I am still awaiting the results of the PCR test and have a few updates. The area burns and it’s very sore. This can be the skin or the mucous membrane. I feel like I have got cuts outside my vagina and clitoral area, I particularly feel this when I am close to my period days.

This can cause the skin to rip, leaving what looks like paper cuts or fissures, it can also cause irritation to the vulva area which can make the area itch and or burn, which in turn can cause the labia minora to swell. I am still totally fine and most people who really have a solution don’t return to a site like this to leave specific drugs and detail to the persistent problem they are finally rid of… Sometimes you can get cuts from long fingernails if you are touching yourself down there. I’m still unsure as to what’s wrong with me and its scaring me to death. We’ve been having condomless sex (I am on HBC) for about 8 months. Almost every time after having sex, I become extremely irritated and have severe itching for up to a week. The skin around them was white-ish, kind of like canker sores, and I brushed the white stuff away to get a better look–it rubbed off pretty easily, so now I’m left with two red spots on either side.

I have these little cut looking things around the opening of my vagina, the inner labia, and even close to my booty hole. Eventually I will notice blood on the toilet paper after a bowel movement, and upon examination I will ocassionally see an open sore or cut. I would say that most first infections do not present looking like paper cuts, more like rounded sores or blisters, though women most often don’t see the blisters because they break and become ulcers before they can be seen. I do not understand why Im experiencing recurring pain everytime I have sex. So that pretty much sums it up – oh and one more weird thing – I am not growing pubic hair in some really big patches on my vagina ever since I gave birth. It’s easy to find out. My first “flare-up” happened when I was 12 years old.

They are usually about 1 cm’s distance from the area around the clitoris, or down the bottom near the anus. If the yeast is bad enough it can create small, paper-cut like breaks in the skin. and we were monogomous for 2 years. Turns out that two virgins have it so not a STI. In the fall of 2013 I was seeing a man who had had a history of cold sores on his mouth and apparently was “shedding” when I received oral sex from him. Actually, they are not cuts, but they are a break in skin from dryness, irritation, and scratching. When symptoms do occur, they usually appear as 1 or more blisters on or around the genitals or rectum.
