How many cuts do you usually get and how often? Do these sores bleed when the first present themselves? I was concerned about Herpes and I was asking a few questions as of why -in your professional opinion – I was experiencing pain after sex. I was diagnosed with 2 two days ago after going to the ER because of excruciating and escalating vaginal and labial pain. I really can’t remember when my cuts started either, but I often do feel like I’m not really convinced that it is Herpes…especially since I’m HSV-1 positive and my HSV-2 was in the range of being a false positive (according to the Dr forum). They werent painful, perhaps a little sensitive to touch, and it did not hurt at all when I urinated. There seems to be more than one thing happening.

Almost every time after having sex, I become extremely irritated and have severe itching for up to a week. The skin around them was white-ish, kind of like canker sores, and I brushed the white stuff away to get a better look–it rubbed off pretty easily, so now I’m left with two red spots on either side.
I have these little cut looking things around the opening of my vagina, the inner labia, and even close to my booty hole. Eventually I will notice blood on the toilet paper after a bowel movement, and upon examination I will ocassionally see an open sore or cut. I would say that most first infections do not present looking like paper cuts, more like rounded sores or blisters, though women most often don’t see the blisters because they break and become ulcers before they can be seen. I do not understand why Im experiencing recurring pain everytime I have sex. So that pretty much sums it up – oh and one more weird thing – I am not growing pubic hair in some really big patches on my vagina ever since I gave birth. It’s easy to find out. My first “flare-up” happened when I was 12 years old.
